How Can We Support You?

Onyx Support is a specialist support organisation providing Non-Medical Help (NMH) services to students with mental health conditions, disabilities, neurodivergence and Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs). ​We work in partnership with Higher Education Providers (HEPs) across the UK, demonstrating our ability to deliver high-quality, consistent support nationwide. Our focus is on removing barriers to education and empowering students to thrive academically, personally and professionally.

We support:

  • Students funded through Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA)

  • Students receiving university-funded support

  • Privately funded students seeking specialist support

We collaborate closely with:

Where We Provide Support

We provide nationwide support across the UK, including:

  • In-person support (where appropriate)

  • Online and remote support

  • Flexible delivery aligned with course requirements and student preferences

This allows us to support students regardless of location or mode of study.

  • Social Workers

  • Counsellors

  • Mental Health Nurses

  • Deaf, Multi-Sensory Impairment and Visual Impairment Specialists

  • Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs) Tutors
